For procedures such as PRP joint injections and some types of facial procedures for example, the patient's own proteins are used to improve results and speed healing.
MIcroneedling is when several rows of very fine needles are used to improve skin texture, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the look of scarring and stretch marks! If platelet rich plasma is also used during this process, the results are even more pronounced.
Chronically painful joints can be treated with an injection of your own natural proteins! We do offer steroid injections for pain relief, but also highly recommend PRP for more natural, longer lasting results with less side effects.
Fillers are injectable gels that attract water to the area, therefore producing a fuller, more youthful appearance. Restalyne and Juvederm are two, well-known versions of this type of medication. Results are considered to be semi-permanent but touch-ups are always available if desired.
To obtain platelet rich plasma, a sample of the patients own blood is taken and spun down by a machine that will seperate out the usable components. This "golden liquid" is then injected directly at the intended source to be rejuvenated. This can be a chronically painful joint or used to improve facial skin health and radiance.
Botox, perhaps the best known of all cosmetic products! It works by relaxing the muscles under the wrinkled skin, producing a smoothing effect. Results last for approximately three months and actually improve with repeat procedures!
